Danny Gamble is the Forum’s communication director and managing editor of First Draft. He served as a teaching writer with Writing Our Stories for nine years. He has also taught English at the University of Alabama, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Jefferson State Community College, and elsewhere. Gamble earned his MFA in creative writing at the University of Alabama and his BA in English at the University of Montevallo. His poetry, fiction, feature articles, and book reviews have appeared in various periodicals. He is the author of Letters from Suburbia, a chapbook of poems, and Exit: Brautigan, a one-man play on the life and work of poet and novelist Richard Brautigan.
