Board of Directors

David Donaldson is Director of Community Relations at Vulcan Materials Company, where he is responsible for the community and governmental relations programs of the Company’s corporate office and nine operating divisions. Donaldson graduated from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee, with a B.A. in English Literature. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Public and Private Management from Birmingham-Southern College. He currently serves as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Nature Conservancy, Alabama Chapter. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Humanities Foundation, the Wildlife Habitat Council, Silver Spring, Maryland, and the Salvation Army Advisory Board, Birmingham. He currently serves as President of the Members’ Council of Leadership Birmingham, and is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham.
